SUMMARY: As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for machinery, automation processes, and other industrial applications. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficiency, reliability, safety, and sustainability of these systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement control systems for manufacturing processes and equipment. Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces). Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance system performance. Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and software. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production staff. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in control technologies. REQUIREMENT: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hands-on work with control systems, PLCs, HMI, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems, and project management skills. Proven experience in designing and programming control systems in industrial environments. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA software, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus). Strong understanding of electrical design principles, circuit analysis, and control system theory. Familiarity with servo drives, motor control systems, and robotics. Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Analyze processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to control systems Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance Follow all company safety policies. Ensure quality standards are being upheld. Establish and maintain proper inventory levels on electrical equipment components
