POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor, Clinic Relations is responsible for all activities relating to the collection of physician-related and/or state-related documentation as required by the insurance company. The role is responsible for supervising the Clinical Relations staff whose role is to assist in capturing all required documents. The Supervisor, Clinical Relations role will work collaboratively with the department manager and business systems staff to improve the process to capture clinical documents successfully within a timely manner. This role will also help lead the direction of the Clinic Relations team to achieve the department goal defined by management. As part of the medical funding process, this role will work collaboratively with other AbleNet staff to provide an improvement-centric service experience with internal and external customers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the Clinic Relations staff so they can successfully obtain all required documents, signatures, and dates associated with a client's submission to medical insurance for approval of the QuickTalker Freestyle. Supervise the deliverables and responsibilities of direct report(s) Track and monitor all key performance metrics outlined by management to evaluate productivity Responsible for leveraging and improving technology utilization to assist with document capture Take ownership of the automation process with an eye towards high accuracy and high efficiency Keep records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken in accordance with HIPAA policies Attain and maintain a proficient working knowledge of customer relations systems (Salesforce), Microsoft Office products, and other supporting databases Respond timely and document all inquiries sent via e-mail, fax, SMS or over the phone Work as a cross-functional team member that adds to the development of AbleNet and supports company initiatives and goals Demonstrate the core medical funding service department philosophies: Listen, Learn and Lead All other duties as assigned by Manager CORE COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred 2+ years of experience in medical funding 1-2 years leadership experience
