**FOOD RUNNER**
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for taking food items from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner
* Kindly and warmly explains food items to guests at the table
* Communicates any questions/concerns/etc. to staff (servers and/or management)
* Assists in clearing tables when they see empty plates or dirty dishes
* Completes running sidework such as polishing silverware, plates, etc. to ensure they are ready for use on the floor
* Assists bartenders in stocking, clearing bus bins from behind the bar, etc.
* Expected to have a basic knowledge of food menus in order to answer guests questions
Requirements:
* At least one year of experience in a food runner/serving position
* Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Must be able to multitask and handle covering multiple jobs at the same time
* Must be a team player and have a team mentality
* Must be able to walk and stand for an entire shift (8+ hours)
* Must have good people skills
* Must have attention to detail
**BUSSER**
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for clearing plates, glassware, etc. from tables in a timely manner
* Communicates any questions/concerns/etc. to staff (servers and/or management)
* Completes running sidewok such as polishing silverware, plates, glassware, etc. to ensure they are ready for use on the floor
* Assists bartenders in stocking, clearing bus bins from behind the bar, etc.
* Expected to have a basic knowledge of food menus in order to answer guests questions
* Assists food runner in running food, if needed
* Complete other responsibilities as needed throughout shift
Requirements:
* At least one year of experience in a busser position
* Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Must be able to multitask and handle covering multiple jobs at the same time
* Must be a team player and have a team mentality
* Must be able to walk and stand for an entire shift (8+ hours)
* Must have good people skills

Meet our owners: Rob and Maggie Wasserman. They are native Philadelphians who met at Rouge in 1999. Theyve lived and traveled extensively in Asia working in the fashion, manufacturing, and importing industries. In 2006, they returned to Philadelphia to start and raise their family and took ownership of Rouge. The continued success of Rouge has led to plans of expansion both in Philadelphia, and potentially, in surrounding areas.
Meet our new executive chef: the well-traveled Sean McPaul. Chef Seans career started 15 years ago at Stephen Starrs Tangerine before a move to San Francisco (Bacar, Quince, Jardiniere), and a return to Philadelphia, where he opened Talulas Garden for Starr. McPaul then opened Starrs Upland in New York before leaving for Ludlow House. Next, he became chef for Eli Kulp and Ellen Yin at High Street on Hudson, their Manhattan sibling of High Street on Market in Old City.
