Provides financial, credit, and debt management counseling and education services to patients. Utilizes alternative means for obtaining coverage for uninsured or underinsured patients. Responsible for performing complex insurance verification and eligibility determinations as well as varied administrative and highly responsible clerical functions of a sensitive nature, including complex investigative and problem-solving activities in support of minimizing the hospital's bad debt risk.
