The Role The Data Center Account Director will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts for our data center operator customer base. This role involves identifying and qualifying new data center opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and developing tailored fiber optic solutions to meet customer needs. The specialist will also be responsible for managing the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract closure. The Main Responsibilities Business Development Prospecting and Lead Generation Relationship Building Market Analysis Solution Development Sales Technical Knowledge Other Skills What We Look For in a Candidate Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of industry sales experience. Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities. Ability to prioritize with good time management skills. Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills as well as proficiency in selling to the close. Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction. Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape. Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
