About the Role:

Join QSR Magazine's Transformational Brand of the Year We have an exciting opportunity to support our Global Analytics team as a Director, Business Analytics & Strategy reports to Senior Director of Strategy and Analytics, based in Miami, FL.

The Director, Business Analytics & Strategy will play a pivotal role in generating actionable analyses and identifying growth opportunities to drive Sales & Traffic, build restaurant profitability, and grow market share. This high-profile individual will develop and lead global business analytics projects. The Director will work with a diverse group of people across Executive Team, Operations, Development, Finance and Marketing to identify outstanding strategic questions, define and develop strategic plans, manage diverse stakeholders and deliver actionable outcomes. The director will be a thought leader within the organization and be a key player moving Subway's transformation strategy forward.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Direct all phases of multiple cross-departmental analytics and strategy projects with a focus on Restaurant Operations.
  • Be an expert in Restaurant Analytics, identify key areas of opportunity, and develop analytics tools to grow restaurant topline and bottom-line profitability.
  • In cases where testing is required, design, train, implement, and supervise field implementation of new programs and tools.
  • Deliver fact-based business cases including a strong financial rationale for change.
  • Be a thought leader within the organization providing holistic strategy solutions.
  • Build and develop key relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Occasional travel required to attend in-person meetings with Franchisee and market visits.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of strategy & business analytics experience in management consulting, investment banking or a corporate strategy role.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, finance, economics etc. Top tier MBA strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence different functions and levels of the organization. Skilled at developing and sustaining relationships, building collaborative partnerships, and being a liaison to a variety of constituents and stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presence, leadership, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Strong ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable recommendations for a diverse set of audiences.
  • Strong financial modeling and data analytics skills.
  • Excellent drive, ambition, work ethic.
  • Individual must have an entrepreneurial disposition and be comfortable with loosely defined direction.
