About The Role

As a DevSecOps Engineer at Felix Pago, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our platform. You'll work closely with our engineering, operations, and security teams to implement best practices, automate processes, and maintain a robust infrastructure. Your focus will be on integrating security into every aspect of our development and operations lifecycle while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

Secure Development Practices: Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC, including code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments. Infrastructure Security: Implement and maintain security controls for cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Automation and Tooling: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management scripts, and security tooling to automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes. Incident Response and Forensics: Lead incident response efforts, conduct post-mortem analyses, and develop remediation plans to address security incidents and vulnerabilities. Security Awareness and Training: Promote security awareness and best practices among engineering teams through training sessions, documentation, and mentorship. Compliance and Auditing: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices, and proactively identify areas for improvement within the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with a focus on security. Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Strong understanding of secure coding practices, encryption protocols, and authentication mechanisms. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS), compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS), and security assessment methodologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10). Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
