Togetherwith the rest of the Animal Management Marketing Team, you will be responsiblefor ensuring the Gallagher retail presence in our customer’s stores acrossNorth America is executed in line with our strategy of Retail Excellence. Thisposition is responsible for overseeing the retail presence of Gallagherproducts in stores across North America to ensure alignment with the company'sstrategy of Retail Excellence. Key responsibilities include leveraging datainsights to optimize merchandise layouts, drive stock turnover, and enhancefinancial performance. Additionally,the role involves coordinating various events such as field days, sales fairs,and conferences, ensuring they align with the marketing strategy and tactics.The individual will work closely with the North American marketing team toefficiently execute marketing strategies in support of sales. Thisposition offers a unique opportunity to leverage data insights, coordinateevents, and work closely with our wider marketing team to drive sales andenhance brand visibility. The successful candidate will be based at ourRiverside office and is expected to work on-site. KeyAccountabilities: Understand positioning of productcategories and their place in the rural market Develop effective retailmerchandising design structure for a widely varied store presence across NorthAmerica that improves shelf presence, stock turns and financial performance Develop and build Gallagher as aprovider of retail excellence Use the partnership with dedicatedVendor management resellers to build retail design, models, and merchandisingtools to further enhance the vendor managed retail program Develop with Key Account and SalesManagement team rolling retail performance metrics Establish field day, event outcomemeasures – to improve design and tactics for future events Ensure annual events programs –locations, event selection and tactical execution consistent with marketingstrategy Coordinate resources, collateral,local tactical deployment with regional teams, and contract fieldday/conference providers Ensure development of availabilityand ongoing maintenance of resources including displays, vendor managementfacilities Ensure calendar integrated withcommunications and promotional plan Ensure sufficient and relevantresources, POS collateral as agreed with the product launch, promotions andmarketing plans Develop new networks retail displayconcepts and enhancements to improve retail presence and performance ofGallagher range Accountable for ongoing stockposition of: RetailPOS and in store collateral as agreed Companybrochures and publications Internodaldisplay, event tents, displays, IPAD displays, tools and trailer capability Company uniform program maintenanceand, as necessary changes Provide support as an active memberof the Sales and Marketing team, at Field Days, in store and in marketingcampaign development as required Provide active support to other teammembers as and when required and participate in the implementation andachievement of the marketing team objectives and action plans Assist in supporting team events andensuring that peers act responsibly and professionally Ensure that dress standards aremaintained at an expected level resulting in a professional representation ofthe Company Ensure that behavior and activitiesare maintained in terms of policy Be prepared to share knowledge andexperience to all team members both individually and at team meetings to assistthe team meet overall objectives Ensure that confidentiality isrespected and maintained to ensure that no one person is disadvantaged and toensure that a competitive advantage is maintained at all times Qualifications and/or Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience ina relevant retail or trade merchandise role, preferably with exposure to theNorth American agricultural rural reseller network. Bachelor’s degree in Communications,Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Skills: Strong ability to utilize sales datainsights to develop merchandising strategies that drive positive stock turnsfor retailers. Excellent organizational skills withthe ability to efficiently coordinate events across [Country/Region]. Ability to challenge the status quo,examine work methods, and develop smarter ways of delivering outcomes. Exceptional communication skills andwillingness to learn and develop. Relationship building, consensusbuilding, and influencing/negotiation skills are critical to success. Strong multitasking, time management,organizational, and prioritizing skills.
