Responsibilities:
Conducting inspections and testing:
Performing thorough quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods using established testing methods to identify defects or non-conformances.
Data analysis and reporting:
Recording inspection results, analyzing data to identify trends, and generating detailed reports to communicate quality issues to plant leadership.
Maintaining quality standards:
Ensuring adherence to company quality management systems, industry regulations, and standard operating procedures.
Identifying and resolving quality issues:
Investigating root causes of defects, proposing corrective actions, and collaborating with production teams to implement improvements.
Documenting non-conforming products:
Properly handling and documenting products that do not meet quality specifications, including quarantine procedures.
Calibration and maintenance:
Regularly calibrating testing equipment and maintaining proper documentation for quality control procedures.
Requirements:

Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
Technical knowledge of relevant testing methods and equipment
Excellent documentation and reporting abilities
Possesses well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of quality control methodologies and standards
Proficiency in relevant software applications

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, government manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondences to both internal and external contacts. Ability to speak effectively with customers and coworkers of all departments within the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, volumes, and cost associated with customer orders. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. Ability to use Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, 90 plus degrees.
Work Environment:

• To be capable of productivity in a diverse range of environments

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts

• To be able to work in a team setting

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GED.
At least 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Quality background in measurement techniques and analysis preferred.
