San Francisco, United States The Hired Guns Full time

The Hired Guns are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Quantitative Researcher to conduct research studies in support of Learning and Development product design and development for a global tech company. This is a remote contract role with an initial six-month term and strong probability to extend.

The Nitty Gritty
The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire you

A leading global technology company is building a next-generation Learning and Career Development platform for its employees, and they need a Senior Quantitative Researcher to gather and interpret data on business needs, user motivations, and industry trends through interviews with primary user groups. Based on that information, you’ll identify personas and create user journeys.

As Senior Quantitative Researcher, a big part of your role will be partnering closely with research, design, product, and engineering leads, working with them to set goals, manage expectations, and present your findings.

Why You?
How you’ll know if you’re a fit…

You could be the perfect person if you’ve spent 2 to 3 years in a leadership role on a product-focused UX research team and have a master’s degree in organizational psychology, human factors, human computer interaction, cognitive science, experimental psychology, information science, or a related field.

Your hyper-organized approach means you thrive in situations where you’re overseeing overlapping projects with ever-changing timelines. An excellent communicator and collaborator, you have the people skills needed to lead. And, as a passionate researcher, you live for applying multiple methods to your work and distilling your findings into concise insights. Prior knowledge of the Learning and Development space is a plus.

The Inside Skinny
Why you should quit your job right now and join this organization

Looking to add a heavy-hitting tech company to your resume and unlock a wealth of future opportunities? This is the place. Working as a Quantitative Researcher at this omnipresent brand will challenge you to flex your skills in a rapidly innovating environment. You’ll have resources aplenty (including the backing of a super-talented team) and limitless opportunities for growth.
