Patient Care Tech (PCT) General Surgical Unit Fast-paced Unit is looking for top skilled PCT.Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Denton, 3000 N. I-35 in Denton, TX 76201.Work hours: Full Time, Day Shift (7a to 7p), 3 shifts, 36 hours per week. Possible weekend and holiday requirements. Here's What You Need •High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)•CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required, if applicable.•Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA, NAHP or NCCT or an accredited community college program or a THR approved program or •Current EMT for TX or•Military experience with medical training equivalent (Equivalent to EMT-B) or•1 year of applicable PCT experience in lieu of an active and approved certification or•Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program.•Previous hospital experience is preferred.•BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly•CPI - Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training within 60 days of hire required.
