Job Description

As a member of our Solution Consulting team, you will have a major impact on our future success by supporting the Financial Services Enterprise Sales team. You will guide revenue for the ServiceNow platform including IT Service Management and IT Operations Management with the support and partnership of Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. This is a hands-on technical consultant who can go wide and deep on solution delivery and solution positioning during sales cycles.

What you get to do in this role:

The Solution Consulting role is a technical pre-sales consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team that pursues customers and prospects across the financial service industry.
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs.
  • Develop client and partner relationships.
  • Guide strategic programs in accounts such as customer journey sessions for roadmap and outcome agreement.
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value.
  • Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team.
  • Provide mentorship to junior Solution Consultants on the team.
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:
  • 10+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience
  • Proficiency and hands on experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience working with and selling to large enterprise organizations (5,000+ employees)
  • Strong understanding of shared services/support center environments.
  • Able to articulate and logically communicate concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterparts to promote execution excellence.
  • Exhibits prior or current technical expertise in enterprise SaaS based web technologies and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Exhibits a strong degree of technical expertise and business problem understanding.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Business Travel as Necessary
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with Financial Services (Banking, Wealth, & Insurance) based organizations.
  • Solution and/or process experience with one more of the following ServiceNow Applications: IT Service Management (ITSM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), DevOps, Agile, HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Security Operations, IT Operations Management (ITOM) including Cloud Management, Event Management, Infrastructure Discovery/Mapping.
  • ServiceNow Financial Service Operations (FSO) or Customer Service Management Data Model Experience.
  • Experience with Payment Card Operations, Disputes Management, or Loan Operations
  • BIAN Banking Service Oriented Architecture Experience
  • ITIL4 or ITILv3 Foundation Certification or Higher
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification
  • Advanced ServiceNow Certifications including Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) and Certified Master Architect (CMA)
