Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant at Premier Health Group, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, analyzing budgets, preparing P&L statements, and utilizing Quickbooks to maintain accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Developing and managing budgets for various departments and projects within the healthcare sector.
Analyzing financial data and preparing detailed P&L statements to ensure the financial health of the organization.
Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections, while adhering to healthcare industry billing regulations.
Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Utilizing accounting software to record transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports tailored to the healthcare sector.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including medical professionals, administrators, and executives to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits.
Assisting with financial audits and providing necessary documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency in healthcare financial management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on budgeting and P&L analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in Desktop Quickbooks and other accounting software commonly used in healthcare settings.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly in healthcare financial analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare professionals.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
CPA certificate is preferred but not required.
