Logistics Coordinator needed at Food manufacturer - Downtown SLC, UT

Job Description

Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for multiple steps of sales shipments and orders of Food/Meat orders.

This will include working with sales reps, vendors, and government departments such as customs to ensure products are shipped and received correctly.

They will be tracking this information through internal systems as well as using Oracle.

This information can range from client information to shipment details, and due to working internationally, this information must be correct and detailed as other countries have regulations they must follow.

While working on these orders, they will receive original documents that will need to be compiled and used for international tracking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Desired experience on candidate resume is Importing & Exporting products. This does not have to be food related, but should show an understanding of shipping and logistics, not just printing shipping labels and giving to couriers.

Candidate requirements:

Targeting 3-5 years of experience in a consistent role in related field.

Bachelors Degree in the following (Business, Operations, Analytics, etc.)

High Level of critical thinking, able to understanding matching principles (The matching principle is an accounting principle that requires businesses to record expenses and revenues in the same period when they are related to each other)

International shipping is not required but a plus.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Work Environment

Onsite Monday through Friday (No Hybrid or Remote)

8am-5pm

Will work with a team lead and 2-3 other team members
