Position OverviewFairview Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Music Therapist to join our team in Hudson, NH. In this role, you will provide clinical and evidence-based music interventions to residents across various care levels, including skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, rehabilitation, and memory care. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to address the physical, emotional, social, behavioral, and cognitive needs of our residents through personalized music therapy. Hours: Day shifts, specific hours to be discussed during the interview process.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate Therapy sessions: Lead group and individual music therapy sessions for residents in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, rehabilitation, and memory care settingsDesign and Adapt Interventions: Develop and modify music interventions based on the evolving needs of the resident populationAssessment and Treatment Planning: Administer formal music therapy assessments, evaluate residents' potential for benefit from therapy, and create individualized treatment plans with clear musical and non-musical goalsDocumentation: Accurately document observations, responses, and progress following all therapy sessions.
