About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Hudson Hospital & Clinic. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide music therapy services to patients, utilizing music therapy techniques appropriate for individual patients and groups.
  • Document each session in the patient's electronic medical chart (Epic).
  • Refer patients for additional therapies when necessary.
  • Participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Music Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Music Therapy Association.
  • Current board certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists or board certification obtained within three months of hire.
  • Maintain current certification and renew every 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing music therapy in a hospital and/or healthcare setting.
  • Advanced certifications.
