We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Hudson Hospital & Clinic. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
Key Responsibilities- Provide music therapy services to patients, utilizing music therapy techniques appropriate for individual patients and groups.
- Document each session in the patient's electronic medical chart (Epic).
- Refer patients for additional therapies when necessary.
- Participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Music Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Music Therapy Association.
- Current board certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists or board certification obtained within three months of hire.
- Maintain current certification and renew every 5 years.
- Experience providing music therapy in a hospital and/or healthcare setting.
- Advanced certifications.
