We are currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Quality & Environmental Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Job Summary: As the Quality & Environmental Manager, you will play a critical role in upholding our commitment to quality, sustainability, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing effective quality and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards. Your hands-on approach, attention to detail, and passion for reducing waste and environmental impact will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO9001 standards. Establish and oversee an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO14001 requirements. Conduct regular internal audits to monitor compliance with quality and environmental standards and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update quality and environmental policies, procedures, and work instructions. Lead training initiatives to ensure employees have a clear understanding of quality and environmental requirements and their roles in waste reduction and carbon footprint reduction. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and environmental performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Drive waste reduction initiatives and promote recycling and reuse programs within the organization. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and maintain necessary permits and certifications. Stay updated with industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality and environmental management. Serve as the primary contact for external audits, certifications, and customer inquiries related to quality and environmental matters. Foster a positive culture of environmental responsibility and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications: Proven experience in quality and environmental management, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and plastic extrusion processes is highly desirable. Hands-on approach with a strong ability to work closely with teams on the production floor. Demonstrated commitment to waste reduction, carbon footprint reduction, and sustainability. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Environmental Professional) are advantageous.
