Responsibilities:

This is not a Clinical Fellowship.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for the assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, re-assessments and discharge planning of patients referred for Speech-Language Therapy as well as Swallow Evaluation and treatment. The Speech-Language Pathologist will also participate in program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity improvement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.

Skills & Abilities: This position is responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients who persistently demonstrate communication deficits in any modality: speaking, listening, reading and/or writing. This position is also responsible for any patient who has difficulty managing his/her secretions or in swallowing. This may include a variety of diagnoses.

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate must have both pediatric and feeding experience
  • Clinical Fellowship must be completed prior to application
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) a plus

Education Requirements

  • Masters Degree in SLP
  • CPR-Required: Pediatric Affiliation.
  • Required Licenses: Licensed in Pennsylvania
