Rock Point School
seeks a full-time Associate Director of Admissions to join our community and administrative team.
This position is ideally suited for an experienced recruitment professional who wants to join a small, knowledgeable, and collaborative admissions team with room to grow.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic vision regarding boarding and day student enrollment, with an emphasis on recruitment of diverse candidates who will contribute to Rock Point School’s inclusive student body.
Manage the admissions process with prospective students and families.
Meet with interested parties (students, families, and professionals), give school tours, and interview applicants.
Advise the administrative team in making enrollment decisions.
Work collaboratively with our marketing team (internal and external) to review materials and campaigns for recruitment.
Travel locally, regionally, and nationally to attend conferences and meet referring professionals.
Develop and nurture relationships with educational consultants, therapists, therapeutic programs, and other referring professionals.
Help organize open house events and educational consultant tours.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications and/or Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience using Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs or a willingness to learn
Ability to manage a database of contacts and a willingness to learn to use HubSpot (our CRM platform)
Familiarity with independent boarding schools is strongly desired, but not required.
Requirements
College degree and admissions experience
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Proof of authority to work in the United States full-time
