As a Multi-Purpose Clerk, you'll play a key role in promoting sales, answering customer questions, and accurately placing special orders. You'll work in one of several departments, including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean work area, practicing safe food handling procedures, and stocking, rotating, and merchandising product to maintain freshness and department appeal. You may operate equipment such as slicers and wrappers, and keep all areas and equipment of the department clean.
Job Requirements- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation
- Proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job
