POSITION: Product Development Associate RTW REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Production & Product Development DEPARTMENT: RTW POSITION SUMMARY: ThePD & Production Associate plays an important role in coordinating the product development process at Cult Gaia. They are responsible for ensuring that Design’s vision is interpreted to the extent that the desired aesthetic and quality level is achieved in the final product. This individual will also collaborate closely with the Design and Fabric teams. This role requires a creative and collaborative thinker. Our ideal candidate is a high achiever with a sunny disposition and a passion for high end women’s fashion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the end-to-end development and production process across multiple RTW categories. Update the PLM system, WFX. Confirm all data is properly entered in WFX and push to NetSuite. Responsible for maintaining cost and development spreadsheets. Collaborate to ensure visibility to seasonal calendar dates and approval status. Oversee approval status to achieve on time delivery for bulk. Responsible for ensuring salesman samples are on time & issue SMS PO’s to vendors each season. Regularly communicate with suppliers and develop strong partnerships. Maintain Development & Production WIP. Daily follow up with vendors on pending approvals & samples. Attend fittings as needed & manage all changes to styles in our system. Responsible for all areas of garment lifecycle with the support of manager for their assigned styles/categories. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or Fashion School Degree. Minimum 3 + year experience in a PD or production role Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload. Strong organizational skills. Proven ability to be a valued contributor.
