Our commitment to reliable service and a robust transportation infrastructure sets us apart in the competitive logistics market. As a local driver, you'll handle critical delivery operations ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently to our clients. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various local destinations. Manage routes and schedules effectively to ensure timely delivery. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure the truck meets all safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and store managers to confirm delivery details and handle any on-route changes. Provide excellent customer service during delivery, representing System Freight, Inc. professionally at all times. Proficient in driving vehicles equipped with manual and automatic transmissions. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations. Excellent time management and route planning abilities. Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting and moving heavy objects.
