Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods to various local destinations within scheduled timelines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo using electronic equipment and log sheets. Engage with dispatch and logistics teams to coordinate efficient deliveries. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing System Freight, Inc. as a professional ambassador to our clients. Adhere to all safety protocol and transportation-related laws to ensure a secure operational environment. Strong driving record with proficiency in operating a tractors-trailer combinations. Solid knowledge of local road networks and traffic patterns. Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, pushing, and pulling required during loading and unloading process. Effective communication and time-management skills. Capable of using GPS and other routing systems.
