Our client, Amphenol is seeking an Experienced Buyer to join their team.

Job Title: Buyer

Location:Sidney, NY

Pay Range: $28/hr

What's the Job?

  • Maintain sourcing strategies to maximize price, delivery, and quality for assigned commodities
  • Analyze supplier proposals and purchase appropriately
  • Review Materials Requirements Plan in support of production requirements
  • Manage consignment, kanban, and purchase agreements
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure proper costs are being held
  • Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Marketing and Engineering functions
What's Needed?
  • Must have full knowledge of MRP
  • Skilled with using Microsoft Excel
  • Effective writing and speaking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a technical field
  • Capable of working in a fast-pace environment
  • Compliance with all Purchasing Procedures and Policies
What's in it for me?
  • Full Time, 40 hours a week
