**Job Summary**
The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (EH&S Manager) is responsible for working with Management to ensure compliance with all EH&S policies, programs, procedures and government standards. This person will drive safety efforts that are in line with our SPIRIT values and collaborate with responsible team members for EH&S within all areas and divisions.
A successful person in this role should be able to communicate with all levels of team members, have strong organizational leadership capabilities in order to create structured procedures while collaborating with business leaders. They will also have a solid working knowledge of best practices for health and safety practices in production environments.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
* Create, communicate and contribute policies and programs, assist with conducting audits and onsite inspections, and analyze data to provide recommendations for improving processes and programs.
* Interact with customers, government and regulatory agencies, as well as internal team members, to ensure the safety of our employees and compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
* Manage the safety program including training, audits, OSHA standards, SDS program and chairing the safety committee
* Manage the disaster recovery plan information, emergency evacuation plan and testing of the plan
* Manage compliance, filings, testing and authoring of documentation with OSHA, GHS, HAZCOM, REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, DEP, etc.
* Manage and be responsible for the PPE programs, safety training calendar, including assigning or conducting certain safety trainings
**Qualifications:**
**Required**
* Bachelors degree
* 7-10 experience in Safety and Compliance
* Good communication skills
* Detailed approach
* Strong working knowledge of OSHA
* Strong organizational leadership skills
* Ability to travel occasionally
**Preferred**
* Chemical engineering degree
* Experience with GHS, REACH, RoHS, Prop 65
