We are seeking a Materials Handler/Delivery Driver to support our Warehouse operations. The position completes assigned duties to ensure products are accurately packaged in a timely manner, preparing shipments and helping with warehouse functions. The materials handler/ delivery driver will serve as a secondary delivery driver and is expected to follow directions, obey traffic laws, and ensure all deliveries make it safely and in a timely manner.

  • Palletizes and processes orders.

  • Follows verbal and written instructions, reads paperwork and manifests.
  • Operates a forklift and/or pallet jack to pull product for production use.
  • Completes workload safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures, and processes.
  • Uses scanners as needed.
  • Stack goods properly to ensure they're secure and safe in truck(s).
  • Maintain documentation regarding distribution of items.
  • Install items in a residence/store following the directions of a client and/or designer.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid license to operate company equipment
  • Reach truck, cherry picker, sit-down forklift experience
  • Clean Driving Record and valid driver's license
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Diligence and punctuality
  • 18 years or older


Work Environment:

The materials handler/delivery driver reports to the warehouse supervisor. Temperatures can be quite warm in the summer and cold in the winter. Typical tools that are used are pallet jacks, forklifts, tape guns, ladders, box cutters and RF scanners. When the individual is on the road, they will be in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego areas; in a 12-16' box truck.

Physical Demands:

Position is required to frequently sit, climb, balance lift and/or move up to 50lbs. The driver must be able to hop in and out of the vehicle and walk with ease.

Preferred Qualities:

•Previous experience providing white glove service delivery to customers

•Previous Experience working with Furniture

Starting base pay: $20.00 - 22.00 per hour depending on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
