Procurement Category Manager, CapEx and MRO

Lead category strategy development and sourcing execution plans for CapEx, MRO and related spends for all MAB sites. Embed rigor in category management practices and a disciplined approach to creating and executing sourcing and supplier management plans. Deliver measurable value through rigorous sourcing, contracting and supplier management practices across the MAB network. Accountabilities & Impact: Category Strategy Development (30%) Design forward-looking category strategies for CapEx, MRO and related spends that leverage deep market expertise; are aligned with stakeholder/business requirements; and deliver best value outcomes and support broader MAB objectives. Effectively collaborate with Engineering, Operational Technology,

Finance

and Manufacturing functions to proactively plan sourcing programs. Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate technical requirements and designs of proposed CapEx and develop effective sourcing strategies. Continuously assess supply market conditions for opportunity identification and provide supply markets insights to cross-functional stakeholders to inform CapEx project design and decision-making. everage scale and deliver best safety, cost, quality, service outcomes. Sourcing Execution and Contracts Management (50%) Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to maximize value, mitigate risk, identify improvement opportunities, and minimize total cost of ownership. Provide input

capital budgeting process with cross-functional stakeholders in Manufacturing, Engineering, and Innovation-related functions.

Conduct formal bidding process with diverse group of suppliers, working with CapEx project owners to ensure on-time and within-budget project completion. Lead commercial negotiations for CapEx projects and escalate issues / risks to Sr Director of Contract Manufacturing, CapEx and MRO.

Supplier Relationship and Performance Management (20%) Lead and develop high-performing supplier relationships that deliver vs. KPIs across cost, quality, service, innovation, and others.

Act as primary relationship manager and interface between supplier and MAB teams. Create and implement a supplier performance management framework that drives continuous improvement for the MAB business. Identify strategic partnership opportunities across multi-year time horizon to maximize value and minimize risk for MAB. Skills & Experience Needed: Knowledge and experience in the strategic procurement of CapEx equipment preferred (e.g., plant equipment, operational technology) Demonstrated experience working with Engineering and Manufacturing functions to design and execute capital projects with OEMs/suppliers with safety, TCO, schedule and overall value. Desired experience in building an MRO/Spare parts buying program that leverages scale in a multi-site manufacturing environment. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and communicate those effectively to stakeholders/suppliers. Highly analytical – analyzes data and utilizes facts effectively for presentation to stakeholders. Strong negotiation and organizational skills with attention to detail, able to successfully manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously. Strong written/oral communications, excellent presentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams. Self-starter: ability to raise issues and present solutions to problems independently. Possess a “can do” attitude and believes anything is possible with the right focus.
