Description

Weekend shift schedule is Friday- Sunday, 12-hour days.

This position is responsible for the testing and evaluation of various types of transformers

•Evaluate various types of units including internal/external visual inspections and electrical testing

•Operate tablet to complete data collection for inventory equipment and complete evaluations

•Complete virtual warehouse transactions

•Maintains internal quality standards and compliance with all safety factors

•Collect dimensions/measurements, take photos, and complete drawings to document findings for fabrication options

•Execute tasks to Sunbelt Solomon standards/procedures

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' specific transformer work history preferred
  • 1-3 years' mechanical and/or electrical field experience required
  • Experience with small hand tools
  • Technical skills are a plus
  • Basic computer skills
  • Physically demanding position; constantly standing up and kneeling down to read nameplates on units
  • Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers
  • Assist team members to resolve questions and help with the workload
  • Dependable and strong work ethic; works safely
  • Professional language and conduct at all times
  • Ability to learn other areas to fill in when required
  • Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification
  • HS diploma/GED
