About ECU Health North Hospital
ECU Health North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bed acute bed facility serving Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties in the north-central region of North Carolina. Its service area also reaches into southern Virginia. With more than 600 team members, the hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgical services. It features a 24-hour emergency department and offers advanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care.
Position Summary
Responsibility, accountability and decision-making authority for facilitating the implementation of systems, programs and strategic initiatives that advance entity capability. Develops and aligns strategies, initiatives, supporting infrastructure, and budgets that enable the entity to achieve results that align with established quality imperatives to create and sustain operational excellence.
Communicates objectives to staff to ensure understanding of quality goals and their alignment.
Oversees initiatives and operations, including staff, budget, and vendor management.
Measures effectiveness and take steps to ensure continuous improvement of entity performance.
Facilitates change to advance the organization and uses resources and operational practices to drive execution of plans.
Ensures that policies, procedures and practices are operationalized to support safe, reliable care, regulatory compliance, and fosters a continuous learning culture.
Accountable for a positive organizational culture in decision making and performance management to influence work attitudes and enhance job satisfaction.
Has oversight of quality programs such as infection prevention, regulatory compliance, performance improvement and/or patient safety.
Member of management teams and functions as a key liaison between the leadership teams, staff and physician partners of the health care facility and programs.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree is required.
5 to 7 years experience is required.

On-Call: No.
