Civil Engineer, PE - Wastewater - Direct Hire - TX

Active PE state license (TX state) Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering + at least 5yrs experience in municipal water / wastewater design (drainage design preferred) + experience in generation of construction plans / submittals, etc. + experience in Civil 3D / AutoCAD / WaterCAD or related

Job Responsibilities:

  • -Produce design plans, specifications and reports in support of municipal water / wastewater infrastructure projects such as treatment plants, pump stations, storage facilities, and transmission / distribution facilities
  • -Assist in generation and maintenance of project schedule / budget; provide updates as needed
  • -Work with and assist Project Manager with various construction administration tasks such as submittals, contracts, bidding, etc.
  • -Provide oversight / supervision of both internal staff (EIT's, drafters) and external parties (subcontractors, inspectors, etc.) to move project toward efficient completion
Job Qualifications:
  • -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • -Active PE state license (TX state) - (Professional Engineer)
  • -At least 1yr experience in municipal water / wastewater design (drainage design preferred)
  • -Experience in generation of construction plans, submittals, pay applications, contacts
  • -Experience in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, WaterCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS, or related
  • -Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a good communicator and have the ability to multi-task and change priorities quickly
