We are seeking an Optical Engineer to Support our client enhancement and further development of an Integrated Visual Augmentation System. This role is critical for understanding of the optics supply chain, being Detail-oriented, Effective in a laboratory environment and have solid analytical abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Analyzing and interpreting data, including developing system simulations, and implementing automated analysis algorithms. Collaborating with teams of engineers and scientists to progress prototypes to products. Generating reports, test plans, presentations, and other deliverable documentation

Qualifications:

Level of education: Ph.D. degree in a relevant field; or Masters in related with 3 years or Bachelors in related with 5+ years of related experience. U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance required.

Work history / experience required: Full understanding of the lens assembly process Experience with optical device testing. A solid understanding of the optics supply chain Experience associated with imaging sensors, image processing, and signal/data processing applications is preferred. Experience with Unix/Linux operating system. Solid analytical ability.
