**Description**

NFI Massachusetts, Inc. a human service organization is currently seeking a Second Shift Custodian to work in the IRTP located in Worcester, MA, which is soon to be relocated to Westborough, MA.

Located at the Worcester Recovery Center & Hospital, NFIs two, fifteen bed IRTPs are state-wide residential programs for adolescents who have a serious mental illness and/or severe emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. The two programs provide vigorous treatment in a locked setting for youth who are unable to be safely treated in a less restrictive setting. The programs are highly resourced with highly trained and credentialed staff which include child psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, clinical services, in-house education and therapeutic milieu.

Youth are referred by the Department of Mental Health (DMH). The program is structured in a trauma-informed, family focused environment. Both the D1 and D2 units utilize peer mentors as a support to the youth placed; peer mentors are staff that have lived experience in program placement and have gone on to fulfill their educational and professional goals, and work part time supporting youth at the IRTP on the path to recovery. The therapeutic milieu and educational day programming are designed to foster success after transition out of the program.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Clean all areas of program.

* Trash removal.

* Floor maintenance.

* Kitchen and Bathroom cleaning.

* Teaching and supervising residents in daily cleaning activities.

* Maintain program vehicles.

**Additional Information:**

* Schedule is Monday-Friday 1pm - 9pm

**Job Requirements:**

* Qualified candidates will possess a high school diploma/GED.

* Previous Experience preferred.

* Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is a must.
