Staffing Coordinator

Coordinate staffing, scheduling, time-keeping for the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include:

  • Communicate with ED Leaders to understand staffing needs and identify challenges.
  • Maintain and distribute staffing grids
  • Format and publish staffing schedules for Hospital Emergency Department as well as the free-standing Lindenhurst ED
  • Review daily schedules to determine staffing gaps; communicate scheduling status to ED Leadership.
  • Perform in a liaison role with finance departments on analytical reporting, variance reporting, etc.
  • Identify and contact flex, per diem and other alternative personnel to maintain appropriate staff levels.
  • Compile and publish daily census and staffing reports.
  • Provide administrative support for ED Leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Scheduling and administrative experience in a hospital, preferably in the Emergency Department
  • Top organization notch skills
  • Significant experience with Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Outstanding track record in customer satisfaction.
