As a housekeeper, you will perform a variety of cleaning activities safely, effectively, and efficiently, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, and polishing, at Bryan Properties and resident locations. The position will be responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**

* High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.

+ Experience and training may be considered as a substitute.

* Prior experience in home cleaning, office cleaning, or a similar position is required.

* A valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance is required.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met.

* Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.

* Protects equipment and makes sure it is maintained in good working order and stored securely.

* Notify superiors of any property damage.

* Deal with reasonable resident complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.

* Check inventory of all consumables and replace them when appropriate.

* Adhere strictly to health and safety rules and maintains awareness and observance of all standard operating procedures.

* Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.

* Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks.

* Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area.

* Vacuum and clean carpets and rugs.

* Sweep, vacuum, polish, and mop hardwood, and tile floors.

* Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry, as needed.

* Use several types of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools.

* Keep bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies.

* Clean mirrors and other glass surfaces.

* Empty trash receptacles and disposes of waste.

* Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.

* Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.

* Comply with company policies and procedures.

* Perform other duties as assigned
