Position Summary:
The Nurse Manager Inpatient - Mother Baby is responsible for assisting leaders with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing the department subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital administrative team. Develops and implements patient care policies that are based on evidence and/or best practice standards and comply with regulatory requirements. As new nursing knowledge and innovations in practice advance, leads their application into practice and ensures standardized implementation across the department by working closely and in collaboration with other department nurse leaders and educators.
Minimum Qualifications:
Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
merican Heart Association BLS
Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider
Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion
Three years of recent patient care experience
Two years of recent healthcare management/supervisory experience with specific Labor & Delivery and Post-Partum clinic experience
Preferred: MSN
Preferred: Certification in Nursing Leadership (AONE or ANCC)
Preferred: American Heart Association ACLS
Essential Job Functions:
