Essential Job Responsibilities - will include, but are not limited to:

  • Enforce safety and quality regulations while following GMPs.
  • Assist in resolving daily inventory issues through data research and physical observations, makes adjustments as necessary in the system.
  • Audit prior days' cycle count reports looking for and resolving large variances.
  • Participate in the resolving and adjusting of all production returns.
  • Assist production with resolving systemic and physical inventory differences.
  • Enter inventory information into a controlled software system to ensure availability of accurate information.
  • Monitor and conduct inventory checks to guarantee accuracy of inventory.
  • Assists in other areas of the company, as needed (returns, receiving, shipping etc.)
  • Researches the cause of inventory variances and provides recommendations for resolutions.
  • Reports to work regularly and on time.
  • Perform duties safely and reports unsafe conditions or actions.
  • Assists in other duties as needed and directed.
Education and Experience:
  • Mathematical Skills - Accuracy with arithmetic and subtraction.
  • Language Skills - Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and hold complex conversations in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift certified or the ability to be trained on warehouse machinery
  • Computer knowledge and the ability to learn the inventory control software.
  • Inventory control and cycle counting experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Skilled in monitoring, troubleshooting, critical thinking, process control, and active listening.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, orientation to quality, problem sensitivity and information ordering skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Knowledge of food production processing, and general computer usage including Microsoft Office.
  • Team player with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization; executives, staff, clients, outside agencies, organizations and individuals
