Business Development Manager – Engineering Resource Solutions

What you will be doing:
  • Engaging with engineering leaders within transportation, medical device, heavy-duty, and consumer electronics industries.
  • Identifying their resource needs to support product development with electronically controlled mechanical systems.
  • Driving the sales process from qualifying the prospect, aligning needs and capabilities to the delivering solutions.
  • Participating in market analysis of technology trends and the impact on our customers and business.
  • Providing creative solutions to support our customers and grow our business.

What you'll need to be successful:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales or business development environment in engineering services or technical resource solutions including offshore/near shore delivery centers.
  • An understanding of the embedded V cycle or similar development process.
  • The ability to communicate with technical as well as operational contacts within an organization.
  • The drive to work productively in a virtual environment, a person who is a self-starter that takes initiative.

Essential:
  • Prior experience in successfully developing new customer relationships in technology services.
  • The ability to use business development tools to develop and manage a sales funnel.
  • Innovative thinking to overcome obstacles and objections.
