POSITION SUMMARY
This position is integral for the operations and purchasing departments. It entails for someone to be aware of time constraints and be able to multitask for daily deadlines. Order entry must manage and approve daily purchase orders from store portal for assigned departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage and approve daily purchase orders from the store portal for assigned departments.
  • Provide changes or updates SKUs to the ordering portal.
  • Be point of contact for Buyers, Store Operations, and Warehouse Operations daily to manage shorts, outs, and substitutions.
  • Partner with Buyers, Store Operations, and Warehouse Operations weekly to discuss store ads, inventory issues and needs, and distributions.
  • Analyze and report portal ordering adherence, customer service performance, as well as other appropriate supply chain performance metrics such as service level goals and capacity utilization.
  • To carry out duties and responsibilities in a positive way and in the spirit of cooperation and support of others
  • Able to be flexible in daily tasks as issues occur.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years' experience in data/order entry.
  • Superior analytical and computer skills. ERP system experience required.
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Superior teamwork skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Mindset of Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills coupled with willingness to be "hands-on". (Senior)
  • Ability to be flexible and be able to handle change easily.

  • The work environment is that typical of a distribution center.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility.
  • Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
  • Exposure to extreme temperature changes, moisture, noise, odors, and moving equipment.
