Job/Position Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Study and Analysis of the System Errors and features.
  • Taking complete ownership of the system errors diagnostic process as defined by client.
  • Collaborates with Diagnostic Development Teams to incorporate the requirements in OBD Certification Documents for various Diagnostics.
  • Tuning and Validation of the System Errors and features.
  • Testing and validation as per ISO 26262 standards (FUSA).
  • Testing at Vehicle level.
  • Documentation as per required standards from Clients as well as per Functional Safety guidelines.
  • Presenting at the stake holders forum.
  • Review contents/artifacts for peer teammates.
  • Conduct/attend daily stand-up/status call with customers.
  • Improve/support to enhance quality of project artifacts.
Requirements:
  • B. E. or equivalent in one of the following: Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in automotive domain.
  • Should have strong knowledge on Systems Engineering, Engine, powertrain domain, control systems, performance control.
  • Knowledge on requirement specification.
  • Knowledge in Engines & Emission Systems.
  • Experience with Calibration Tuning.
  • Experience on Diagnostics (OBD II) tuning and validation.
  • Exposure to Functional Safety - ISO-26262.
  • MATLAB/SIMULINK - exposure. (Model reading skills must).
  • Experience knowledge in Automotive domain (preferred).
  • Knowledge in Certification process (CARB, EPA).
