Accounting Consultant II

As an Accounting Consultant II, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, project budgets, and expenditure reports. Your responsibilities will include generating, updating, and maintaining detailed records of project expenses and contracts, as well as reviewing and allocating funds for various projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams to understand their financial requirements and create budgets and financial reports accordingly. Additionally, you will oversee vendor invoices and contracts, ensuring compliance with project budgets and financial regulations. With your expertise in accounting and finance, coupled with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects and financial management processes.
Skills:
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably as a Capital Project Accountant, with construction experience being highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, laws, and regulations related to finance and project management.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual with a commitment to accuracy and excellence.
Education:
- College degree or professional certificate in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
