Position Overview:
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our pharmacy. You will collaborate with the PIC and other team members to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services to our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of pharmacy management and patient care.

Scope of Supervision: Pharmacy Technicians

Responsibilities:Collaborative Goal Setting: Work closely with the PIC to establish and monitor pharmacy goals, ensuring consistent progress and reporting. Business Growth: Contribute to the development and implementation of growth initiatives for the pharmacy. Financial Oversight: Provide input on pharmacy finances and budget management. Operational Excellence: Oversee internal pharmacy processes and operations to maintain high standards of service. Customer-Centric Approach: Hold our pharmacy team accountable for decisions that impact our customers. Team Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with pharmacy staff to foster cooperation and goal achievement. Communication: Maintain open communication with all pharmacy staff members, seeking their input and collaboration. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with practitioners to enhance organizational processes and improve patient outcomes. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and accreditation standards while implementing best practices. Delegation: Delegate responsibilities as needed to ensure timely and accurate completion of pharmacy operations. Pharmacist Duties: Perform standard pharmacist duties as required. Quality Assurance: Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies and take appropriate actions based on recommendations. Performance Improvement: Engage in the pharmacys Performance Improvement program as requested by Human Resources. Professional Development: Participate in professional and industry organization activities, as well as in-service and continuing education programs. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the President/PIC Minimum Qualifications: Pharmacy degree and State Licensure. Strong organizational and delegation skills. Experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes. Organizational skills to maintain accurate records. Current knowledge of applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Physical Requirements: The physical requirements necessary for this position include: Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing. Using hands to operate office equipment and vehicles. Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
