Gelato Counter Staff

L'Arte del Gelato is looking for Full and Part-Time experienced Counter Staff for our different locations. We need someone with a lot of energy, friendly attitude, and professionalism.

We are in search of individuals with top-notch hospitality, organizational, and customer service skills to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience working at a Gelato Counter or a similar role.

As a member of our Gelato Counter Staff, your main responsibilities will include warmly welcoming customers and ensuring they have a memorable experience.

Job Duties:

  • Able to lift and carry over 25 pounds without assistance
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the location, keep products stocked, and ensure proper sanitization
  • Serve Gelato following company standards
  • Adhere to Gelato temperature guidelines
  • Handle cash transactions using the Square POS system
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines for food and beverage handling as per Health Department standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members for seamless operations, especially during busy times
  • Assist customers in choosing frozen items and provide product information
  • Share Gelato knowledge with guests
  • Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude, organized, detail-oriented
  • Experience in retail, restaurant, or quick-service industry
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to details
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Open availability to work weekends
  • Reliable, punctual, and accountable
  • Food Handler Certification preferred

Job Types: Temporary, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: starting at $ Tips

Shifts:

  • 8-hour shift
  • 10-hour shift
  • Weekend availability

Work Location: In-person

Uniforms will be provided
