Medical office assistance and Medical scribeDescriptionPremier Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant and Scribe to join our team on a full-time basis.**Job Overview: **As a Medical Assistant and Scribe, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assisting with clinical tasks, documenting patient encounters, and ensuring accurate and timely medical records.**Responsibilities: **- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures- Document patient histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system- Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up care as needed- Maintain a clean and organized work environment- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care-Perform Pulmonary Function testing and 6 minute walk test-Keep track of office inventory-Help with check in and check out when needed-Perform Skin allergy test-Inject immunotherapy SC and bill-Inject Biologics SC and bill-Phlebotomy experience is a plus-Radiology experience is a plus**Requirements:**- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Proficiency with electronic health record systems- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare teamSCHEDULE:One position open for part time staffOne position open for fulltime staffPart time staff: Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 5pm (Part time staff must be able to work Monday and Tuesday on consistent basis to get part time position) Full time staff:Monday to Thursday 8-5PAY:Competitive varies depending on experiencePremier Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
