Agricultural Loan Officer Requirements:

  • 3 years of community banking experience (ideally). 
  • Personal and professional experience in Agriculture is a must. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or corresponding education and related training.

Agricultural Loan Officer Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing portfolio of $15MM and grow a loan portfolio
  • Meet benchmarks in multiple facets including but not limited to profitability and credit quality
  • Promote new business development and community involvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Agriculture or work experience
  • Work well with support staff and executive management
  • General understanding of Row Crop, Cattle, Swine preferred
  • Develop centers of influence for referrals
