Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and, summarizing information.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement.
- Perform daily, weekly , monthly reviews and analyses of current portfolio using operational(Portal)reports.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Working closely with customers/prospects, sales and, management
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Bid process coordination and account pricing/estimates. This includes coordinating bid strategy conference call and follow-up activities; performing detailed analysis of customer specifications and collaborating with manufacturing to understand the plant's capabilities, capacity, and pricing strategy; coordinating/updating all estimates through the plants or entering specifications into financial models; developing standard profitability summaries/analysis, as well as post bid analysis.
- Developing pricing models from scratch and presenting to both internal and external customers.
- Assisting with the development of new and improved processes such as the bid process, pricing analysis standardized reporting, IT projects, bid scorecard results, and contract/deal worksheet management.
- Detailed understanding of manufacturing capabilities and procedures.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint including formulas such as VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, etc.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and oral
- Prior corrugated packaging background a plus
- HRMS, BVP, and/or AmTech proficiency a plus
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience using SQL and Python
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Mathematical Skills - Experience calculating sales and sales trends.
- Collaboration - must be able to work with people from different parts of the business.
- Data Mining - must be able to interpret different types of data and decide what is valuable to deliver an accurate forecast.
- Ability to write reports and communications.
- Previous experience with calculations would be preferred
- Analytical System Skills - Tableau is a plus.
- Problem Solver- Ability to think innovatively and identify customer needs.
- Strategic Thinker - provide insights that propel the business forward.
