About the job Tool and Die Maker Responsibilities:Craft, adjust, and mend tooling, jigs, fixtures, and molds to meet our rigorous standards.Utilize a variety of machine tools to manufacture precise parts and instruments, adhering to exact specifications.Conduct thorough inspections of tools and dies upon completion to verify compliance with detailed specifications.Work in close partnership with our engineering and manufacturing departments to devise and refine tool designs, enhancing production efficiency and product quality.Qualifications:Demonstrated expertise as a toolmaker within a manufacturing setting, showcasing a history of producing high-quality tools.In-depth knowledge of metallurgy, the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately, and proficiency in using precision measurement tools.Autonomous work style with a strong capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling independently.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in toolmaking, machining, or a related field.Experience with CAD software for designing and modifying tool designs.Familiarity with the latest machining and toolmaking technologies.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.Proactive in staying updated with industry trends and advancements in toolmaking practices.
