The Care Delivery Operations Consultant independently partners with executives and leaders in support of HPMG programs and strategic initiatives. Experienced in clinical operations, the Care Delivery Operations Consultant identifies opportunities to improve standards, systems, and processes for clinical practice and care delivery.
JOB DUTIES
Collaborates with care delivery leaders, stakeholders, and staff to develop and implement innovative solutions to support quality, access, care experience, and other market priorities.
Contributes to clinical and care delivery strategy; supports organizational alignment and prioritization of clinical initiatives by developing and determining goals and priorities with sponsors.
Leads and directs the project management for administrative and clinical processes for care delivery initiatives and programs.
Assesses, identifies, develops, and designs clinical workflows in support of care delivery initiatives in collaboration with operational leadership and staff.
Implements quality improvement and project management best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
Manages and executes ad-hoc requests of moderate complexity in support of clinical operations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
5 years of progressive experience in a clinical operations position providing direct patient care, including 2 years of leading quality and service initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in leading and executing clinical operations projects and initiatives.
1 year of experience in a leadership role (e.g., team leader, mentoring or leading a project).
2 years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership.
Knowledge of clinical operations, quality management, process improvement principles, processes, and tools.
Able to communicate clearly with empathy and credibility, and able to collaborate with staff, physicians, and leaders at all levels.
Ability to independently manage moderately complex projects/deliverables, identify requirements, and establish priorities independently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active clinical license in the State of Hawaii.
Supervisory/lead or project management experience.
Care delivery operational experience within the Kaiser Permanente system.
The salary range for this position starts at $87,391. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications.
