We are seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:
•Join our Orthopedic Providers who provide a full range of non-surgical and surgical services, including trauma, joint reconstruction and replacement, sports medicine, spine, hand and upper extremity and foot and ankle surgery.
•Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
•Prepare patients for examination, assist with treatments and office procedures and provide patient education.
•Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education
Minimum Requirements:
Facility Requirement:
Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).
Experience:
Minimum: two years' experience required as Certified Medical Assistant.
Traveler must have ambulatory or clinic experience.
Oncology clinic experience preferred.
Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
Licensure and Certification:
Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN.
BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or
In lieu of the above requirements, two (2) years of recent Medical Assistant experience and current CMA, RMA or CCMA certification.
Reference:
Needs 2 completed references from recent work assignments in the last two years (supervisor or manager only).
Floating:
Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
