Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES* Maintain a clean and valid driver's license.* Drive the vehicle into position for loading and unloading.* Load the vehicle with products and foods in manner ensuring goods are properly and securely stowed. * Communicate with office.* Able to lift 50 to 75 lbs on consistent basis. * Able to bend, twist in repetitive fashion and be on feet for several hours. * Vehicle check must be done daily and documentation must be completed and submitted daily.* Hand in all gas receipts/cards upon getting gas.* Must maintain an odometer log daily.* Totally responsible for daily cleanings of vehicle.* No other passengers allowed in vehicle unless authorized by manager.* Must adhere to all motor vehicle laws and regulations.* Whitsons is not responsible for any traffic violations while you are driving the company vehicle and are on company time. If you receive a traffic violation, you will be responsible for the ticket.* Must adhere to all location policies which include but are not limited to: time of delivery, parking, designated delivery areas and designated driving areas.* Perform additional duties as assigned.Work School schedule Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:00 pm .This is a 12 month position.PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary.* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: * The work is performed primarily in the central kitchen* Standing most of the work day is required. * Work requires movement in and out of store rooms, refrigerators and freezers * Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.* The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. Candidate must be able to pay for Fingerprinting.*Candidate must have reliable transportation to work.* One year of professional driving experience. * Must be cautious of bad weather conditions that can make driving hazardous.* Must be able to carry and lift objects weighing up to and above 50lbs.* Must perform repetitive movementside to side, up and down in safe manner.* Some warehouse work required**GENERAL REMINDERS* The customer is always right.* Always wear proper uniform attire including hat or hairnet in food prep areas.* Uniforms should be kept clean and neat at all times.* Present a positive image.* Smile and acknowledge customers by making eye contact.* General courtesy requires you to clean up after yourself.
