Job Type Full-Time Education Bachelor's Degree - Civil Engineering Job Description ****Essential Duties and Responsibilities:****

* Technical design of a diverse group of roadway ventures including; freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails

* Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects

* Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects

* Take ownership of project tasks from start to finish

Job Requirements

* Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university

* Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification, or in the process of attaining

* Zero to five years of experience in roadway design and plan preparation procedures and standards is recommended

* Knowledge and experience with Microstation, InRoads and/or Geopak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering is recommended

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills

* A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our clients overall project goal
